“Sustainable Tools 4 Trainers”
This is Nordplus Adult 16 months project (2016-2017) for six organisations from Iceland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Finland who made consortium with the aim to collaborate and develop "Tools for Trainers in Sustainable Training material for Tourism" as adult education in tourism field is one of their main interest and work during the few last years. Coordinator is “Step by Step” center for adult learning (Iceland) and Eesti People to People NGO is one of the project partners.
The project endeavors to promote innovation, exchange of experience and know-how between different types of organisations in Nordic and Baltic countries involved in adult education. It ventures to support the creation and dissemination of outstanding practices in tourism field and enhance the development of those working in adult education.
The main project approach is targeted through non-formal learning activities, which aim at enhancing the skills and competences of adult education workers and learners who are the main target groups in this project.
The main tangible result of the project will be "Tools for Trainers in Sustainable Training material for Tourism" - collection of materials and best practices from the project partners and other organisations and also materials and activities created during the project. These tools will be used as a practical instrument in the work of adult educators in project partners' and other stakeholders' organisations and also disseminated to wider audience.
Results achieved during this project may be highly relevant and applicable also in fields not covered by the project. Intangible results of this project will be the competences and experiences gained by participants - adult educators and learners, partners' organisations and other stakeholders involved in the project. These results will be visible on increased skills of participants in touristic field, on the improvement of the quality of work in the partners’ organisations and countries.
“Jätkusuutlikud Vahendid Koolitajatele” on Nordplus Adult’i 16 kuud kestev projekt kuuele organisatsioonile Eestist, Lätist, Leedust, Soomest ja Islandilt. Nende poolt loodud ühenduse eesmärgiks on välja töötada “Jätkusuutlikud õppetusvahendid koolitajatele turismivaldkonnas”, kuna haridus turismivaldkonnas on osutunud partnerite jaoks viimaste aastate üheks peamiseks huvi- ja töövaldkonnaks.
Antud projekt püüab edendada innovaatilisust, kogemuste vahetamist ning oskusteavet erinevate täiskasvanute koolitamisega tegelevate Põhja- ning Baltimaade organisatioonide seas. Eesmärgiks on silmapaistvate praktika tavade loomine ja levitamine turismi- ning täiskasvanute koolitamise valdkonnas. Projekti peamiseks lähenemisviisiks on mitteformaalsete õpitegevuste rakendamine, mis täiustavad koolitajate ning õppurite, kes on antud projekti sihtrühmaks, oskusi ja kompetentse.
Projekti põhiväljundiks on “Jätkusuutlikud õppevahendid koolitajatele turismivaldkonnas” – see on partnerite ja teiste organisatsioonide koolitusmaterjalidest ning parimatest praktikatest kokku pandud kogumik. Lisaks sellele leiab sealt ka projekti vältel loodud tegevusi ning materjale. Need vahendid võetakse kasutusele praktiliste instrumentidena töös koolitajatega nii partner-, kui ka osanikorganisatsioonides. Seejärel toimub levitamine ka laiemale sihtrühmale. Antud projekti käigus saavutatud tulemused võivad osutuda väga tähtsaks ka teistes valdkondades, mis ei ole kaetud selle projekti raames.
Lisaks materiaalsetele väljunditele on väga tähtsaks ka osalejate: koolitajad ja õppurid partner- ning osanikorganisatsioonidest; kompetentsid ja kogemused. Neid tulemusi saab näha osalejate suurenenud oskususte näol turismivaldkonnas ning partnerorganisatsioonide ja –riikide kvaliteetsemas töös.
