As part of the project idea we will focus at targeting the older generation and youths throughfocusing our activities in sharing good practices which assist in citizens better understandingeach other and promoting integration and understanding the differences in cities through twocommon mediums which are through storytelling: the collection of stories as said and witnessedby citizens through their life and the second medium would be through the use of home cookingwhich although diverse according to customs and traditions have common factors, ingredientswhich implicate that although different we share commonalities among us.
Through the project we would also address the barriers between older people and youthaddressing the perceptions and misconceptions of youth as wasters, hanging out causingproblems, where older people have a fear of interaction with youth based on media portrayals.
