01/11/2019 - 31/10/2020 - 31/10/2021
The project will be implemented in the Baltic Sea region by 8 non-governmental organisations from Latvia, Russia (the Kaliningrad region), Belarus, Estonia, Lithuania, Poland, Denmark and Norway. The coordinator of the project is Women’s Right Institute from Latvia.
The objective is to deepen the understanding of the role of civil society and to empower the NGOs to contribute to the strengthening of equal opportunities for women and men by using the European Pillar of Social Rights and other social rights' instruments. A conference, two seminars, four practical workshops and an evaluation meeting, as well as drafting the brochure consisting of NGO experts' proposals on equal opportunities in education, social and health care, entrepreneurship and in media will take place in the countries.
These activities will improve the knowledge of the target group - 16 NGO experts, 28 participants and 8 decision-makers, as well as strengthen the partners' capacity regarding advocacy in decision-making.
