Smart Hospitality

"Smart Hospitality" is 24 months Erasmus+ strategic partnership project (2019-2021) created by partners from Lithuania, Estonia, Greece and Spain involved in adult education. Coordinator is public institution “Strategic Self-management Institute” from Klaipeda, Lithuania.

Partners will create a training program which will help develop knowledge about smart technologies and other innovations in hospitality sector. Partners will analyze needs of educators and adult learners and decided to put together their experiences and develop new sustainable outputs which are needed. They will be updated regularly online and will be used in partners' countries, in Europe and beyond.

Implementation of the project will contribute to improvement of cooperation between different actors connected with adult education sector and improvement of hospitality services quality in Europe: business sector (hotels, restaurants and travel agencies), public sector (municipalities, city councils), education sector (training centers, schools), etc.

Project aims to collect good practices about using smart technologies in hospitality sector and create training methodology "Smart Hospitality Academy" for improvement hospitality sector employees’ competencies and adaptation them to digital life and smart technologies. This methodology will be used as a practical instrument in the work of adult educators in project partners' and other stakeholders' organisations and also disseminated to wider audience. The strategic plan of this project is to increase use of project outputs and outcomes after completion of the project.

Project objectives are:

- to share with project partners SSI experience in circular economy training for tourism SME and using virtual tools iGenius, iSelf improvement and i-Project;

- to collect good practices examples from all over the world;

- to prepare training methodology "Smart Hospitality Academy" with for trainers in smart hospitality, which may be used for representatives of target group for a long time after project completion;

- to create self-assessment virtual tool iSAT.

Partners will organise locally workshops, trainings, testing project outputs, dissemination activities and multiplier events in each partner country. More than 200 people will be directly involved in this project and more than 1000 indirectly during the dissemination activities (web-surfers engaged in social networks and in the reading/watching of partners websites and social media).

Project outputs will be:

* Collection of good practice examples "Smart Hospitality".

* Methodology for trainers in smart hospitality "Smart Hospitality Academy".

* Self-assessment virtual tool iSAT.

The impact of the project activities will be strong to all involved. Staff members and adult learners will develop new competencies in hospitality fields, organisations will enhance capacity building, adult education providers and hospitality sector on national, regional and European level will gain new teaching materials.
